Thetherapy is indicated indiarrhea and dysentery as well as feverof recent origin cough, coldthyroid disorder,urinary tractdisorder anorexia, skin disorders, respiratory disorder, indigestion,goiter, fibroid, filariasis,and many more.
Patientswith kapha dosha belownormalshould not be treated withvammanatherapy.Women who are pregnant, not havingsnehana karma, agni that is strong(digestive system) people who areunder stress, or hungry or stress, children, an elderly, weak person, enlargedthe spleen, intestinal parasitesthe prostate is enlarged, etc.in such cases vamana karmamust be avoided.
Virechan (purgation)is the 2nd karmainpanchakarma. It isone of the widelyutilized therapies, particularly inailments caused by theaggravated pitta dosha. Virechancan be givenconstipation, gout, piles, jaundice, liver disease ascites, splenomegaly,dysuria, pain in largein the intestine, diseases of the urogenitalsystem inmale and female nasal bleeding, etc.

3) BASTI KARMA
