The Biggest Teddy Bear in the World
There are gigantic teddy bears and there are giant teddy bears. On April 28, 2019, the residents of the Mexican town of Xonacatlan joined the Guinness Book of World Records Over 3 months they worked together on creating the largest teddy bear ever made in the world. To create the huge teddy, the same materials were used for the production of regular store-bought stuffed animals. The result was an 19.41 feet long Teddy bear by his name Xonita which has an approximate quantity in the range of 451.48 m3. The teddy bear that is so massive is currently the biggest teddy bear in the world, which makes it the largest animal stuffed in the world by default.
The World’s Largest Sock Monkey
Sock monkeys are made of socks, and are often designed to look like a monkey. They are very popular folk art toysand are often are made by hand. They are usually mid-sized stuffed toys. But have you ever wondered what would happen if you made one out of 66 socks with a length of calf? Jody Lewis, who hails from Bridgwater, United Kingdom, made one!
Lewis worked for a whole week cutting out socks before making them again. After much hard work, she completed her task, and set the record for creating of the world’s largest socksock monkey! With 15 kg of hollowfibre, her gigantic stuffed monkey was created in February of 2015.
“I’ve got a big list of things that I want to do in life and breaking a world record was one of them,” Lewis spoke to that the World Record Academy. She certainly accomplished that! Lewis‘ monkey is currently in the position of being record-holder being the largest Sock Monkey in the world. It stands 3.19 feet tall. The animal weights 16 kilograms.
